Argonne’s summer students were recently welcomed to the laboratory with food, games and conversations with Argonne’s senior leaders, mentors and fellow students.
Stopping by to welcome the students were Interim Laboratory Director Paul Kearns; Health, Safety, and Environment Director Betsy Dunn; Interim Deputy Laboratory Director for Operations John Quintana; Interim Deputy Chief Operations Officer Mike Dunn, and Chief Human Resources Officer Julie Nuter. The laboratory’s mentors, who do the most to shape the student experience at Argonne, were also well represented, as were many of Argonne’s Employee Resource groups.
The summer student picnic was organized by Lisa Reed of HRS-Educational Programs.
