As Interim Laboratory Director Paul Kearns announced in his State of the Lab address, each directorate at Argonne will host an all-hands meeting to discuss its priorities for the coming year. Each meeting will be open to all employees.
The first of these meetings will be presented by the Computing, Environment, & Life Sciences (CELS) Directorate on Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Building 240 TCS Conference Center, Room 1416. Topics to be covered include the Exascale Computing Project; machine learning; the lab’s work in sensors, new collaborations with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; and research directions in biology and environmental science.
Employees from across the lab are encouraged to attend any or all of the directorate all-hands meetings, as their interests dictate and schedules allow. Learn more about the work your lab peers are doing, identify potential collaborations, and simply stay up-to-date on the spectrum of science and engineering happening around Argonne.
