Two 2016 APS/CNM Users Meeting events open to all employees

Two events scheduled as part of the 2016 APS/CNM Users Meeting will be open to all Argonne employees.

‘DOE Perspective’ Talk

On Monday, May 9, 2016, laboratory staff whose schedules permit are invited to hear the “DOE Perspective” talk, which will be given by Ben Brown, senior science and technology advisor, U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, at 8:45 a.m. in the APS Auditorium, Bldg. 402 Conference Center.

Vendor Open House

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, employees are welcome throughout the day to visit the 60 exhibitors who are participating as vendors at the 2016 APS/CNM Users Meeting. The Vendor Open House has become a tradition of the Users Meeting. This is an opportunity to meet with scientific and technical service and materials companies. Vendors will be located in the Atrium area, the Gallery area, and behind the Auditorium in the Bldg. 402 Conference Center. A list of companies can be found here.

The APS/CNM Users Meeting gathers scientists and engineers from diverse fields of research from around the globe to discuss cutting-edge, mission-driven research. The event features plenary sessions, 11 workshops, poster sessions, a meeting banquet, 60 exhibitor companies and CNM short courses.
