Business and Information Services is releasing a major upgrade of the Dash application, which will be available Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. Dash provides a secure, remote access gateway to many business systems and several other specialized applications. Dash is also the primary method for accessing Dayforce, Argonne’s time and effort recording application.
Dash will be unavailable on Tuesday, Sept.12, 2017, from 3 to 7 p.m. during the upgrade.
The upgrade provides an improved user interface and includes a new “light version” that doesn’t require you to download software. For many users, this light version will be the easiest method to access applications through Dash.
To use this new version, go to dash.anl.gov and select the “Use Light version” from the Dash/Citrix Receiver Welcome screen. For help on selecting the light version or to see if your browser is compatible with this feature, contact the Argonne Service Desk or refer to the updated Dash webpage on Inside Argonne.
The upgraded Dash features an authentication interface that uses the same authentication interface that applications like Workday, Box, BlueJeans and GetThere use. The primary Dash interface will be replaced; all Dash-enabled applications will be listed alphabetically on the main page.
