The Leadership Institute will host the workshop “Inclusive Leadership – Connecting With Others” (ALI100) on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Building 203, Room D120.
“This is one of our most requested workshops, and we consistently receive positive feedback from employees who attend it,” said Lisa Durham, Leadership Institute director. “I’m confident new participants will have the same experience.”
Professionalism, teamwork and leadership begin by connecting with others. In this workshop guest facilitator Ralph Brandt of the RDR Group will lead activities and discussions that will enable participants to improve connections and help foster an inclusive workplace environment.
Topics covered will include distinguishing between diversity and inclusion, identifying barriers hindering inclusion, learning behaviors to promote inclusion and acquiring skills to promote connecting with others.
For maximum experience, the session is limited to 30 participants.
Participants can enroll through the Training Management System (TMS):
- From your training profile, click the “Enroll in an Elective” button. The “Course Finder” window will appear.
