On Nov. 15, 2017, a test of the Argonne Alert System was sent at 9 a.m. to a total of 5,229 people; about 200 could not be contacted.
The Argonne Alert System is designed to inform employees and site occupants about time-sensitive and other emergency announcements as soon as possible. If you didn’t receive a test message by text, email or phone, first check to make sure your contact information is listed in Workday:
- From the home screen, click “Personal Information”
- Click “Contact Information.”
- Make sure an email address and mobile and/or home phone number is listed
If you need assistance, or if the contact information is correct but you still didn’t receive the test alert message, contact the Service Desk at ext. 2-9999, option 2.
