Argonne’s Bike Share bikes are being taken out of service this week in preparation for the lab’s May 21, 2016, Open House. The bikes will be returned to service on Monday, May 23.
Employees and members of the public may bring their own bicycles to Argonne for use during the open house. All cyclists are required to wear helmets and follow the Illinois Rules of the Road and all posted signs while on Argonne’s campus.
Full- and part-time Argonne, UChicago Argonne, LLC, and U.S. Department of Energy employees are eligible to participate in Argonne’s Bike Share program once they have completed training course ESH561 Bicycle Safety.
Non-employee students, subcontractor employees and long-term visitors (such as scientific users) are also eligible to participate in the Bike Share program provided they complete the training course and sign the required liability waiver (ANL-877).
Members of the public are ineligible to participate in Argonne’s Bike Share program.
