Technical and non-technical volunteers are needed for the U.S. Department of Energy’s third annual Cyber Defense Competition where student teams compete against each other by designing foolproof networks, fending off cyber attacks and developing systems to keep information secure. Last year, the University of Illinois at Chicago team took home first place, will they defend their title in 2018? Come cheer on a blue team or volunteer for one of the many other teams that we have to offer.
The competition will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Building 240 TCS Conference Center. Individuals interested in cyber who would like to volunteer can register online.
