The Strategic Collaborative Initiative (SCI) Seed Grant program supports collaborative research projects between the University of Chicago faculty and either Argonne or Fermilab scientists and engineers, as well as three-way collaborations between University of Chicago, Argonne and Fermilab.
Awards are available for up to $75,000 (inclusive of indirect costs) for a period of 12 months.
The funding cycle is currently open and applications are due on Friday, April 15, 2016. Funds will be available in early June.
A team of reviewers will assess the merits of all submitted proposals. The final selection will be made in June 2016.
