Abstract

What is it that really defines a person’s gender?  While most people never think about it, a transgender person’s life is frequently defined by this question. The answers are very personal, and frequently the result of a decades-long search. In this seminar to commemorate Transgender Day of Visibility, Tatyana Moaton will share her story as a trans woman of color. She will discuss her personal journey, and talk about the challenges facing the transgender community.
