Deadline for proposal submission: Friday, July 6, 2018, 11:59 p.m. Central Time
The Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) is now accepting proposals for user-initiated nanoscience and nanotechnology research. The CNM provides researchers from around the world with access to a broad range of capabilities for design, synthesis, characterization and theory and modeling in order to significantly advance the understanding of nanoscale phenomena and develop functional nanoscale systems.
There is no cost to use the CNM if you intend to publish your results. You can also access CNM facilities on a cost-recovery basis for proprietary research that is not intended for the public domain.
Prospective users are encouraged to contact CNM staff prior to submission to discuss their proposal ideas and learn more about the capabilities of interest to them within CNM’s research groups.
The CNM holds three calls for proposals each year, due in March, July and October. Additional information is available online.
