The Postdoctoral Program Office presents “Preparing for the Academic and Industry Job Search,” a three-part workshop offered to postdocs and graduate students.
The first two sessions focus on academic job search and will cover:
- Finding the right institution
- Application portfolio components
- Teaching and research statements
- Interview process and preparation
The third session, “Be More Employable in Industry” will cover:
- How to be more employable in the private sector/finding a rewarding career in industry
- Telling better stories with the same facts (speaking about your research to hiring managers)
