The Improving How We Work Work Planning and Control (WPC) Application Team has been working with key stakeholders to create an upgraded work planning and control application that will provide end-user flexibility and usability for both the input and output to the application.
The input, hazards and controls will be streamlined. Navigation will be aligned with the Integrated Safety Management and WPC process. The output will be designed to be a useable field document containing relevant information that workers need to perform work safely. Stakeholder teams, made up of research and operations end-users, have been engaged in user experience sessions to test the usability of the application and the output documents to ensure that workers can use the documents in the field.
Testing of the upgraded application will take place in September and the upgraded application will be launched in October.
