Members of the Argonne community are invited to serve on the organizing committee for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED), an all-day diversity outreach program designed for middle school girls that provides an opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers.
Members of the organizing committee will attend occasional meetings and assist in the development of the IGED 2019 event on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019. All previous IGED volunteers are welcome, as well as any fresh faces that would like to get involved. An informational meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, from noon to 1 p.m. in Building 240, Room 1406/1407.
