Curator’s statement
Art and Science are inherently linked by the process of experimentation and discovery. There is creativity in the mind of a scientist that allows for exploration. There is a discipline in the making of art that opens doors of individual expression. Though the resulting usage of art and science may be different, the spirit of curiosity is mutual.
“To develop a complete mind: Study the science of art; Study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
—Leonardo da Vinci
