The laboratory has developed a mandatory training course for all Argonne laptop computer users who plan to remove their machines from the Argonne site. This training is intended to reduce the number of instances when laboratory equipment, primarily laptop computers, is either lost or stolen.
Employees will be required to complete this training before they are allowed to take assigned property off-site, including laptops. When creating the Property Pass (ANL-4), employees must certify that they have completed the training course.
The training document will be part of a revised ANL-4 form on Xink.
Remember to properly secure and safeguard all laboratory property assigned to you and be aware of the location that property at all times, even while it is the laboratory.
