Interested employees are invited to attend a Quantum Computing Tutorial on Monday, Dec. 10, and Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Building 240 TCS Conference Center.
The tutorial is a great opportunity to learn the foundations of quantum computing, popular quantum algorithms, quantum error correction and quantum communication. Attendees will also learn about available quantum simulators and computers, and how to use them. Featured speakers are from Argonne, Clemson and Atos.
Please note: The tutorial is for Argonne employees only. Postdocs and advanced graduate students are encouraged to attend. No knowledge of quantum computing is required.
There is no fee to attend the tutorial, but participants are responsible for their own meals. Space is limited and registration is required.
Hal Finkel and Yuri Alexeev from the Computational Science division and the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility are hosting this event.
