The Argonne Research Library’s new library system will become available to the Argonne community beginning Jan. 28, 2019, and users of the library will notice a few new features. In addition to an updated interface for the library’s Research Navigator, employees will be able to view their individual library account, and renew print materials online.
The new library system is a cloud-based library management platform that relies upon services provided by Ex Libris, a ProQuest system that is widely used by academic libraries worldwide, as well as several other national laboratory libraries. The transition to a new library system has been in development for the past year and the project is being led by employees from Business and Information Services.
