Christopher Kramer, head of Media Relations for Argonne’s Communications and Public Affairs division, will present “Effective Communication” on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at noon in Building 203, Room D120. The workshop is hosted by the Next Generation Society (NGS).

Effective communication with stakeholders is vital to raising visibility in the scientific community. Communicating effectively can help attract funding, enhance professional reputation, collaborate across disciplines and engage the public. During this presentation participants will be provided with tips on interpersonal communication and on how to speak more clearly and vividly about their work in terms all can understand. We will also discuss additional resources available at Argonne to more effectively connect with peers, sponsors and industry partners.

Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch. Treats will be provided. RSVP to Elina Kasman.
