Human Resources Services’ (HRS) Compensation team recently kicked off the Variable Pay Program Project (VPPP), which is a a key Impact Argonne initiative to consider affordable and effective variable pay program options for exceptional employee contributions pivotal in creating and sustaining Argonne’s World-Class Community of Talent. Variable pay, also known as a bonus, is contingent compensation that rewards employees on performance or results achieved.
This month, there will be a series of focus groups, comprised of a diverse cross section of managers and employees from all directorates, to gather perspectives and opinions on the topic from across the lab.
