Some Argonne employees are issued work tablets, laptops, cell phones and other sensitive property items that may need to be removed from the site for official Laboratory use at home or while on travel. Employees are required to have a valid Property Pass (ANL-4) before removing any laboratory property from the site.
Employees can fill out and submit Property Pass (ANL-4) online or they can contact their division Property Representatives for assistance.
Once fully approved, the property pass should be printed and kept with the property at all times. Please keep in mind that this pass must be renewed annually.
The Argonne Protective Force conducts random outbound vehicle searches and will take possession of property if a valid pass cannot be presented to the officer. The property will only be returned to its assigned custodian when a valid pass is presented to Argonne Security.
