Following a national search, Pam Gruszka has been selected as the deputy chief human resources officer (CHRO) for Human Resource Services (HRS) effective June 1.
The deputy CHRO is a newly defined role for HRS, and Gruszka will help to lead and align Argonne’s strategy, operations, service delivery and communications as we deliver on the Impact Argonne agenda to recruit and retain a world-class community of talent.
Gruszka has served in multiple HR roles since joining the lab in 2014. She is an accomplished HR leader and brings to this new role an understanding of the laboratory’s culture as well as insight into HR best practices from multiple industries including higher education, insurance, financial services and manufacturing. Gruszka has a track record leading the delivery of all HR services, building highly effective teams, driving significant change management efforts, and streamlining and improving how we work.
