The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) JUMP team invites innovators to brainstorm, network and pitch ideas at the Chicago Innovation Exchange, 1452 E. 53rd St., Chicago, on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 5 p.m.

The Innovation Jamathon is a brainstorming event that helps teams with raw ideas build an amazing startup pitch and ultimately compete for prizes including cash awards, accelerator programs and recognition at industry events.

Team JUMP is looking to fund innovators with tech skills and business solutions for energy technologies and will be onsite to help develop your ideas. You can recruit team members to brainstorm ideas for sensors, phone apps and platforms that change the way we interact with our homes.  At the end of the session, teams will have a chance to pitch ideas and receive feedback from a panel of business leaders.

Come meet innovators, bounce ideas with scientists from four DOE national laboratories and refine your pitch with Chicago’s entrepreneurial leaders.

All entrepreneurs, developers, professionals, students, makers, doers and enthusiasts invited. Food and beverage will be provided.
