The call for proposals for the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) ASCR Leadership Computing Challenge (ALCC) is now open.
Open to researchers from industry, academia, and national laboratories, the ALCC program allocates computing time and resources at DOE’s supercomputing facilities: the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility, the Oak Ridge Computing Facility, and the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
For this year’s call, principal investigators are now required to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) as the first step of submitting a proposal. The LOIs are due Dec. 16, 2019.
Proposals are due Feb. 3, 2020. Information from the LOI will be automatically populated to the proposal by Dec. 18, 2019.
