Not all lab coats are created equal. Select a lab coat that keeps you comfortable and safe with all the right features.
- Use a lab coat with snaps instead of buttons. If your lab coat gets contaminated, snaps will help you get it off in a hurry.
- Use a flame-retardant lab coat. They’re more expensive…but your safety and well-being are worth it!
- Use a lab coat with elastic cuffs. They’re easier to tuck into gloves. They’re also less likely to catch on or knock things over compared with loose cuffs.

Each month a safety share submitted by an individual will be selected to receive a Spot Award for demonstrated safety leadership. The Spot Award program offers three award levels: gold ($100), silver ($50) and bronze ($25).
