The Polsky Center I-Corps Program is now accepting applications for its Innovation Fund Associates program. The deadline to apply is Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 (11 a.m. CST).
The University of Chicago Innovation Fund is a $20 million investment fund focusing on commercializing early stage research and supporting emerging companies at the University and its affiliates, including Argonne National Laboratory, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and the Marine Biological Laboratory.
To support these investment decisions, the Polsky Center runs the Innovation Fund Associates program, whereby selected students and postdocs receive robust training and act as venture capital associates, performing due diligence on innovative projects by current faculty, students and staff of entities affiliated with the University.
The Polsky Center selects 20 applicants to serve as Innovation Fund Associates, working with the management teams and making investment recommendations to our Investment Committee.
