Proposals are wanted for NASA’s Advanced Information Systems Technology (AIST) program. Its goals are to identify, develop, and demonstrate advanced information system technologies that:

  • Reduce the risk, cost, size, and development time for Earth science space-based, airborne, and ground-based information systems,
  • Increase the accessibility and utility of science data, and
  • Enable new observations and information products.

The focus of AIST is on maturing technology projects starting at a Technology Readiness Level two to four levels and advancing them at a point where they can be demonstrated for potential infusion into the appropriate science, applications, and mission communities.

Notices of Intent are requested by Dec. 21, 2016, and proposals are due Feb. 16, 2017.
