An overview of the Exascale Computing Project (ECP), a collaborative project involving dozens of members of Argonne’s research and leadership computing staff, will be the topic of a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017.
The meeting will be held in the Bldg. 402 Auditorium from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Any interested employees are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Speakers will include:
- Paul Messina, ECP Project Director, Argonne
- Susan Coghlan, ECP Exascale Systems Deputy Director, Argonne
- Rajeev Thakur, ECP Software Technology Director, Argonne
Additionally, Argonne staff involved in ECP-funded activities will provide short updates on them, followed by a question-and-answer session to conclude the meeting.
The ECP is a multi-laboratory collaborative effort focused on the U.S. Department of Energy’s science and energy missions, national security needs and key science and technology challenges.
