The April meeting of the Argonne Garden Club will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at noon in Bldg. 212, Room A157. Garden Club members can cultivate their own plot at Argonne or join for the gardening talk at the monthly meeting.
Join this month’s guest speaker, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Pat Miller, for a talk titled “Monarch Magic.” Discover the magic of the monarch butterfly: its lifecycle and unbelievable migration to Mexico. Learn what makes this butterfly so special, what obstacles it faces and how everyone can be part of the solution! Miller will share her expertise on this extraordinary butterfly and discuss how to create monarch waystations.
For employees who wish to have a garden plot onsite, the club is now accepting applications for new gardeners to claim plots for 2016. Download the forms and find more information at the Garden Club website.
All are welcome. Refreshments provided.
