Join University of Chicago leaders and scientists for a discussion on the vital role of translating research today and for two-minute talks that highlight our scientists’ latest research and its promising impact on society. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Polksy Exchange North, 1452 East 53rd Street, Chicago, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Speakers will cover the importance of translating research to U.S. competitiveness, the changing role of universities in getting scientific inventions and discoveries to market, challenges in our current culture, and opportunities to collaborate with researchers to advance scientific discoveries on campus and beyond.
