UChicago Argonne, LLC is seeking nominations for its 2016 Pinnacle of Education Award, which recognizes Argonne employees for exceptional contributions and continuous efforts that help to make science education and outreach inspiring and unique for students, teachers and community groups.
The Pinnacle of Education Award honors educational work in one of three award categories:

- Developing the next generation of scientists and engineers (undergraduate and graduate students)
- Educating the adult public (outreach programs for adults and teachers)

Nominations will be considered for individuals only. The award consists of an engraved plaque and $3,500, which may be divided equally for up to three awardees.
Candidates are nominated by submitting a Pinnacle of Education Award Nomination (ANL-1011). Applicants may nominate themselves to be considered. Nominations must be submitted to Michelle Horne-Terry by 5 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016. The completed nomination forms will be sent to the selection committee of the Argonne Board of Governors the following week.
