Argonne Director of Strategy and Research Programs Leah Guzowski (GSS) will take part in a panel discussion following a screening of the documentary film “The Burden: Fossil Fuels, the Military, and National Security,” Thursday, May 5, 2016. The event will be held at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, 104 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Food and drinks will be provided at a reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by the film. Afterwards, the panel will discuss the film and how Illinois can further energy security in the United States.

In addition to Guzowski, the panel will be moderated by Graham Baldwin from Invenergy and will include Mike Breen, CEO and President of the Truman National Security Project, and Erica Jeffries, Director of the Illinois Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
