All employees are invited to a volunteer awareness reception on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Building 401 Gallery to learn about the volunteer programs in education and the new community volunteer program.
The Education Volunteer Program has been operational for a year and has over 150 volunteers. Many of these volunteers have presented at schools, helped develop activities, judged science fairs and other competitions and much more. This past fiscal year over 1,500 hours have been contributed to the education community.
In turn, the Community Volunteer Program, which is in its infancy, has over 50 members signed up and a tremendous opportunity for growth.
