Last week’s OPSEC events were a success. The OPSEC Working Group was able to spread OPSEC awareness around the lab through various activities including training, articles, informational handouts and a guest speaker from the FBI.
To kick off the week on Monday, many people stopped at the cafeteria to grab some free gifts and OPSEC awareness materials. A nondisclosure agreement (NDA) training was given by Legal on Tuesday. If you missed it and need to brush up on requirements of NDAs, watch for the training soon in TMS. One event that is always popular is the annual shred day. Employees lined up last Wednesday to shred their personal documents and 9,320 pounds of paper were shredded this year. On Thursday, the OPSEC Working Group hosted a guest speaker, FBI Special Agent Joel Robertz. He provided an excellent OPSEC briefing, “Risks for Business Travelers.”
