Dileep Singh
Senior Materials Scientist Dileep Singh (AMD) has been selected to receive the 2019 James I. Mueller Memorial Award from the American Ceramic Society. This prestigious award recognizes the enormous accomplishments that a select few individuals have made in the field of engineering ceramics.
The American Ceramic Society’s Engineering Ceramics Division will present the award at the 43rd International Conference on Advanced Ceramics & Composites in January 2019 where Singh will deliver a keynote plenary lecture.
Singh has made significant and sustained contributions in the field of engineering ceramics for energy and environmental applications. These include co-inventing the Argonne-licensed and commercialized Ceramicrete™ technology and ceramic composites for structural applications. Recently, his work has focused on the development of thermal energy storage and heat exchange systems for high-temperature applications and he leads the Thermal and Structural Materials group. Singh is a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society and the American Society of Materials.
