Once again Men in Black claimed the 3-on-3 championship in a rematch of last year’s playoff with Top Flight. Eight teams participated this summer, all closely matched in talent, making it hard to predict which team would come out on top. “The league is a great way to meet people, stay in shape, enjoy the camaraderie and competitiveness of basketball and motivate each other to get better,” said Men in Black team member Dejan Ristic (HSE).
Brothers Johnny “See y’all at the hoops!” Reed (HSE) and Leon Reed (HSE) formed the 3-on-3 Basketball League, an official Argonne-sponsored club, in 1992. Johnny Reed has served as league president for 26 years. Leon Reed serves as the league’s commissioner.
