The Argonne Running Club will host the annual divisional championship 3.2-mile run/1.8-mile walk on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, from noon to 1 p.m.
Participants should meet in front of Building 203. Pre-registration is not necessary.
This is an event where teams of three or more runners or walkers, representing their division, are scored according to their finishing positions. The divisional teams will be scored by the top three scorers. Scoring will be cross-country style so the team with the lowest score wins.
Trophies will be awarded for fastest divisional teams in both running and walking categories. Currently the Nuclear Engineering division holds both the run and walk trophies, so strong competitors up for a challenge are encouraged to join in. There will be refreshments and a raffle at the finish.
The rain date is Thursday, Sept. 20.
