As part of the 2019 Incentivized Wellness Program, Argonne’s Employee Assistance Program will offer monthly 20-minute seminars worth 1,000 points each. These seminars focus mainly on stress management and resiliency. Employees will learn how changing their perception of, and responses to, life’s daily stresses can lead to better health and greater well-being. In line with our core values, learning to handle stress helps us all work more safely, respecting others and functioning well in our teams — ultimately allowing us to do our most impactful work.
The monthly seminars are also available online as elective courses in the Training Management System, though in-person attendance is recommended.
Participation in all 12 seminars (either in person or online) translates to 12,000 points earned. All employees are welcome to attend and bring their lunches. There is no cost or registration required.
Argonne’s 20-minute seminar series will run from October 2018, through September 2019.
All classes are scheduled to be held at 12:15 p.m. in Building 402, Lower Gallery.
