The Women in Science and Technology (WIST) Program will host a series of three professional development seminars. All interested employees are encouraged to attend.
Integrating Work and Life: Yes, you can have it all!
Finding the right work-life integration is crucial for a leader to achieve peak performance and deliver needed results. It’s important to carve out space for family, friends and even yourself, in order to recharge and renew – otherwise happiness, health and performance may suffer. This seminar will help you examine the underlying assumptions that make work-life a perceived “either/or” choice. By the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Reframe their mindsets about work-life balance
- Adapt their approach to work, to enable flexibility while maintaining quality and desired outcomes
- Apply an integration approach into daily work-life allocation decisions

5 Principles to Perform at Your Best
Our true capabilities and talents lie hidden within us until we learn how to move beyond limiting behaviors. This is not about fixing yourself; it is about learning and growing to reach more of your true potential. Learning how to intentionally and effectively direct your own brain and attention is a new way of accelerating self-awareness with greater ease, which can help you to build more momentum toward your dreams and goals, have more focus in your daily life, reclaim more confidence in yourself and your talents, and feel more passion for your work, career and life. 5 Principles to Perform at Your Best provides principles with neuroscience (brain science) underpinnings to “take back the steering wheel of your mind.”
