The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility is scheduled to receive delivery of the Theta computer system on Monday, June 27 and Tuesday, June 28, 2016. System components will arrive via tractor trailer through the East Gate at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning and will be temporarily housed for two days in the west end parking lot north of Bldg. 208.
Caution is advised for this time period for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers on 92nd Street as delivery of the system components will be staged between the parking lot and the loading dock located on the south side of Bldg. 240. Those who are planning to arrive for work at this time are advised to approach Bldg. 240 from Northgate Road to avoid unnecessary delays.
Bldg. 240 site occupants and visitors are asked to honor all protective safety barricades, safety signage and to remain alert to changing conditions.
