Argonne’s Educational Programs is hosting a workshop Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19, 2019, to help foster the next generation of world-class talent. Formerly known as “Coding Camp,” the program allows high school students to learn coding from some of Argonne’s brightest computer scientists. Students learn Python and delve into computational thinking in an engaging environment where they work together to solve problems and explore potential careers in this growing field.

Volunteers are needed to help students understand and debug their code. No prior experience in Python or teaching is required. Education staff will provide guidance on facilitating interactions with students. Time commitment can be as little as two hours for the entire week, or more depending on your interest and availability.

To volunteer or for additional information, contact Learning Lab Instructor Kelly Sturner.
