The FMS Grounds crew works hard to keep the lab’s walkways free of debris. However, Mother Nature can deposit lots of things on sidewalks and in parking lots such as leaves, acorns, dead branches, etc. As fall approaches, there will be more leaves and plant debris on the walkways — and sometimes they can be wet, making walking surfaces slippery.
Please exercise caution and look out for any potential hazards that could cause you to slip. If you see a walkway that needs to be cleared, please contact the building manager or safety@anl.gov.
Remember also, to avoid texting and talking on the phone while walking. Instead, enjoy nature’s display!
