Recently, there has been an increase in international shipments being sent without following Argonne policies and procedures.
All international shipments sent under an Argonne account number or with Argonne listed as the sender or shipper must follow LMS-POL-23: Export Control and LMS-PROC-202: Onsite Transfer of Materials. These policies apply to all items, including letters and documents, shipped outside the United States.
Failure to comply with these policies and procedures could have serious consequences, including delayed or returned shipments, additional expenses and negative publicity. A violation of export control regulations could result in administrative, civil or criminal penalties.
International shipments cannot be dropped in the FedEx or UPS receptacles located on-site.
