Argonne teams rack up 65,679 miles in Great American Challenge

More than 400 employees recently participated in the Great American Challenge, an activity program from Virgin Pulse that was an amazing success as 55 teams walked 65,679 miles.

Teams of eight employees “stepped across” the U.S., unlocking new cities and earning Virgin Pulse points. Teams averaged 325,951 steps during the month-long program. Team members really got moving — there were 131,358,488 total steps!

Congratulations to all the teams. And, although there were no trophies awarded for this challenge (aside from the virtual trophies awarded to the top three teams), all participants earned plenty of bragging rights.

Every player that averaged 7,000 daily steps during the challenge will receive 1,000 extra Virgin Pulse points (visit the challenge section in Virgin Pulse to see your average). The bonus points will appear in player’s accounts on March 6. Points earned count towards the 2017 Incentivized Wellness Program.
