Argonne’s Human Resources-Benefits will offer a fall session of the pre-retirement planning program for eligible employees on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Employees age 55 or older with at least 15 years of service who plan on retiring within the next few years are encouraged to attend. Spouses are welcome.
The following topics will be covered:
- Argonne retirement benefits including Retiree Health Exchange for post-65 retirees
- Retirement plan distribution options and related tax issues
- Financial and estate planning
If you have not attended this program in the past and would like to be invited, please send an email with your badge number to benefits@anl.gov, or fax to ext. 2-1278 no later than Friday, Sept. 15, 2017. Please indicate if your spouse will attend as well. Reservations are required. Attendees will be notified of the building location one week prior to the program.
Seating is limited, and registration may end prior to Sept. 15. Enrollment is on first-come, first-served basis. Employees who cannot attend this session will be put on the waiting list. The next session is tentatively scheduled for spring 2018.
