Employees at Argonne can apply to grow vegetables, fruits or flowers on their own garden plots at one of several locations on site. A small fee pays for hoses, other equipment and Garden Club expenses. Current gardeners grow tomatoes, herbs, edamame, sunflowers, pumpkins, eggplant, strawberries, bitter melon, bok choi and dozens of other plants on their plots.

The main application period begins Tuesday, March 14 and ends Friday, April 7, 2017. Print out forms and find more information on the Garden Club website.

The plot program is run by the Garden Club at Argonne, with thanks to Facilities Management & Services. The Garden Club meets monthly during the growing season. Watch for the announcement of our first meeting of the year on March 21, 2017.
